Overall the audience should feel very impressed and drawn in by his character as he is also Jewish, to show he has the same look and gives the impression that the film cast was taken very seriously and shows the audience were considered to ensure all the characters/cast had a believable role in the film. Poland and then after that he is first seen playing the piano to Chopin’s nocturne in C sharp minor in a radio station where the audience are pleasantly surprised and at that point feel a good start of the film as, the camera moves from his hands to his face, which insinuates that Adrien Brody was playing the complex piece, which again shows that a lot of training and dedication has gone into the production of the film to give a positive and impressive response fro the audience.

The main character Wladslaw Szpilman (Adrien Brody) is established very strongly and clearly at the beginning of the film as, there is a stream of archive footage with Chopin’s music which demonstrates the Nazi-Germany invasion on Warsaw.
